System Overview
At the heart of the NautiCOM System is the Main Integrated Equipment Cabinet—a robust, shock-mounted steel enclosure designed to withstand the demanding marine environment. Bulkhead-mounted and dust/moisture-proof, the cabinet features a latching door for security and easy access. Inside, redundant amplifiers and power supplies ensure that your vessel’s PA system remains operational at all times, with automatic transfer between primary and backup components for uninterrupted service.
The cabinet also houses control and switching circuitry for the Public Address / Talkback system, along with terminal boards and fuse panels for speaker runs and control panel terminations. The larger cabinet configurations (300-1000W) include a swing frame design that ensures ease of maintenance and secure access, with limited access authorization for operation and service.
The system is wired for 110VAC power input, making installation and integration straightforward for most maritime power requirements.
Connected to the equipment cabinet is the NautiPAC21 PA Control Panel, offering a user-friendly interface for microphone paging, talkback control, and alarm activation. Users can select specific paging groups, initiate all-call announcements, or trigger alarms—all from this sleek, customizable control panel. The NautiPAC21 can also monitor and activate up to 4 talkback stations and 4 alarm tones, making it a powerful hub for vessel-wide communication.
